Questions
What's the difference between search units and enrichment units?
search_opportunities, get_opportunity and
get_opportunity_documents take 1 unit a call from a search allowance of
5,000 units a month. The next page of a long description or attachment is free. The
four deeper tools draw on a separate enrichment allowance of 500 units a month,
because each call does more retrieval and model work: incumbent_analysis
and match_capability_statement use 2 units, find_similar_awards
and forecast_watch use 1. Ask Claude to run get_usage_status
and it shows what's left of each. Calls that fail on our side, filter values we don't
recognize and lookups of a number that doesn't exist aren't counted. A search that
runs and finds nothing is. Both allowances reset on the first of each month (UTC).
How do the free searches work?
Add the connector in Claude and sign in with your email. Your first 25 searches are free, with up to 30 reads of what they find, and no card. When they're used up, the reply includes a link to subscribe for $99 a year. You can also subscribe straight away: sign up with your email and pay on Stripe's checkout page.
What happens if I hit the monthly limit?
Calls that draw on that allowance stop until it resets at the start of the next month. There's no overage charge. If a limit is getting in your way, email support@bidoppsai.com; the founder reads these directly.
How do renewal, cancellation and refunds work?
You pay $99 when you subscribe and $99 each year after that until you cancel. Cancel from your account page, where Manage billing opens Stripe's billing portal. You keep access to the end of the period you've paid for and aren't charged again. If something isn't working, write to support@bidoppsai.com within 14 days of a charge and we'll make it right case by case. Stripe processes the payments; we never see your card number.
